'Johnny first helped me in my recovery when I was 18 through an intervention arranged with him and my parents. Although it was a painful moment, I was met with a kindness and understanding, a directness yet compassion. Since then, I have regularly been given the time and space to speak freely, being met only with a sense of genuine care and interest in what I had to say. I felt heard.' Dolly
“I first spoke to Johnny when I was desperate and had no idea what to do and how to get my life back on track. I had never opened up to anyone before with total sincerity and his manner and genuine kindness made this surprisingly easy and most importantly, he didn't make me feel ashamed. He worked tirelessly to get me the help I needed and was there throughout. He is an incredibly kind man who I will forever be indebted to”. Rob
“I had never tried any form of therapy or counselling before I started working with Johnny and I had always been slightly sceptical. But from our first session Johnny made me feel totally at ease and able to explore and unpack the issues I was facing in small, manageable steps. We talked through things that had previously felt totally insurmountable and I garnered healthier ways of viewing, and crucially, understanding how and why I felt and behaved the way I did. I can honestly say I do not know how I would have gotten through what was the hardest time of my life without our sessions – he has equipped me with tools that have been beneficial to both my professional and personal life and most crucially to understanding myself. I cannot recommend his services enough”. Esther
‘Johnny has helped me so much. He was so kind and his knowledge meant he knew exactly the right place for me to go (for my recovery) and it changed my life. I would whole heartedly recommend working with him if you find yourself in a place where you need to make a change or need help getting through a bumpy time in your life.' Daisy
'I had some counselling sessions with Johnny Stirling who was a very great help indeed. He is empathetic, quick to understand and generally a delightful and intelligent person to talk to. I would thoroughly recommend him as a counsellor'. John
